Haileybury 2019 Languages Event
Whether it is in your career or opportunities for travel or the experience of living in another country for an extended period of time for study, we are seeking Old Haileyburians to come back to school and share their stories with current students.
During this evening students from years 9 to 12 and their families would like to hear about the benefits that your second language brought to your life.
Whether you have studied Japanese, Chinese, French or Latin, please come along to this OHA Language Evening to tell us how your critical thinking skills, your problem solving abilities and your creativity have been promoted thanks to your second language.
The evening is planned for Wednesday 1 May at 7pm in Altera Terra.
Current students may book in through this link.
The OHA seeks expression of interest from;
- Members who would like to deliver a 5-10 minute presentation on how they have benefitted from the study of Languages at Haileybury. (These members may be individuals who are well entrenched in their career or who have benefitted in some other way from the study of Languages.)
- Members who would like to chat to current students and their families about their studies in Languages at Haileybury. (These members may be individuals who have recently graduated or are still at university)
