LOCKDOWN TIPPING CONTINUES 🏇 It will be a wet and wintry day this Saturday. Why not put yourself in the draw to win a $250 voucher to The Local Taphouse in East St.Kilda owned and operated by Steve Jeffares (OH ’87). All it costs is $10 and 10 minutes of your time to select the 9 winners of the day. Then sit back, relax and watch your points accumulate. The past two winners have been self confessed flukes. Who will win this weekend?
Rules
- Simply provide your selections (horse number) in Races 1-9 at Moonee Valley this Saturday via email.
- Provide your best bet for the day.
- Tips must be emailed to [email protected] by 11.30 am Saturday, 4 September 2021. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Any scratched runner in any race will be replaced with the nominated Substitute from that race.
- The entry fee is $10

Point Scoring
- Points are scored based on the TAB odds at the start of the race.
- As an example, if your horse wins and the odds are $5.50 (win) and $2.70 (place), you score 8.2 points. If your horse runs second or third and the place odds are $2.50, you score 2.5 points.
- Any points scored for your best bet of the day are doubled.
- Points are accumulated throughout the day.
- Scores will be updated throughout the day and sent to your designated email address.
Prizes
- The winner of the competition is the tipster with the most points at the end of the day – 1st = 60% of pool, 2nd = 30% of pool, 3rd = 10% of pool. If there are 40 participants, 1st will take home $240, 2nd $120 and 3rd $40.
- In addition, this week’s winner will receive a $250 voucher to The Local Taphouse in East St.Kilda as the OHA continues to support Haileybury run businesses.
