Hailey Ladies Shine!

Heart to Heart is the OHA’s wonderful cocktail evening and on Friday 27th April was held at The Deck at Circa, St Kilda.

Heart to Heart is an event for former female students of Haileybury, teachers and staff, and other members of the female community at Haileybury.  Guests enjoyed performances by Haileybury’s senior Hip Hop Teams, and also listened to former student Nicolette Kordos (OH 2010), who spoke about her business Nicky Kay Active Wear – a business which has gone from an initial idea of producing active wear, into a production where Nicolette exports world-wide.  Heart to Heart is about “Women Inspiring Women”, and Nicolette’s presentation certainly acknowledged some of the women who she was inspired by throughout her retail journey so far.

Many other businesses, created by female members of our community also showcased their wares during the event.  Guests were also treated to great music, a warm sense of sisterhood, and as guests departed, they were presented with a gift from the OHA – a lovely woollen magenta and black scarf.

We are delighted to announce that a significant amount of funds have been raised for the 2019 Heart to Heart Scholarship, supporting a female student who would not otherwise be able to attend Haileybury.
