Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane – OHA on the road

Vice Principal, Community Engagement and Advancement, Scott Doran (OH ’84) and Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Russell Davidson (OH ’86) both attended the Sydney and Canberra events, whilst OHA Senior Executive member, Peter Sise (OH 2000) attended Brisbane.

Our Sydney event was held at 55 George, a spectacular rooftop bar overlooking Sydney Harbour in The Rocks area. Just over 20 attendees enjoyed hearing news from Haileybury and of the intended plans for the future. We enjoyed catching up with members from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and hearing of their successes in the Harbour City.

A terrific dinner in Canberra saw 18 Old Haileyburians and their guests enjoy a fantastic feast at Ottoman Cuisine, one of Canberra’s finest restaurants. Alumni from as far back as 1944 (Dale Yeaman) attended as did two of our most recent female graduates – Sarah Mahne -Brown and Natalie Arnould (both OH 2016).

Once again the Brisbane event was held on the Brisbane River at Aquitane Brassierie. A dozen members and guests enjoyed their regular catch up on a typically bright Brisbane day.

In 2020, stay tuned for further events at interstate and regional locations with events confirmed for Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Monrnington Peninsula and more.
