Where are they Now – Richard Kingston (OH ’77)
WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Richard Kingston (OH ’77) is Director/Principal Engineer of Forensic Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd (FES), an engineering consultancy with a high level of expertise in forensic, structural and civil investigations and project management services.
His work involves carrying out investigations to determine the cause(s) and extent of distress to buildings and other structures. Works also include identifying any need for Immediate Make Safe work and provision for reinstatement and upgrades, including design and documentation.
He has been involved in assessing many well publicised incidences including the damage to Betty’s Burgers on Chapel Street after the September 2021 earthquake, fire damaged bridges following the devastating January 2020 East Gippsland fires, and the tragic 2017 plane impact to Essendon DFO.
Richard recently enjoyed three weeks holiday at Mallacoota with his family (wife Hils, son Harry and daughter Jess) and is still able to catch ‘dinner’ during an afternoon’s fish.
We look forward to hearing more about your fishing escapades, Richard, at your Class of 1977, 45-Year Reunion on March 4th!
