In Loving Memory – Bill Allen (OH ’48)

IN LOVING MEMORY ????  Bill Allen (OH ’48) sadly passed away last Friday, 19 February 2021.

 

Bill, a former OHA President (1972-74) was Berthon House Captain and a Probationary Prefect at Haileybury. He was a good swimmer, excelled in sprinting, high jump and shot put, and was a fine all round athlete being the Athletics Open Champion for 1948.

 

Bill was community minded. He won a Citizenship Prize in 1948 and served on the Haileybury Council from 1976-1982.
