Vinith Imayavasan (OH 2023)

Currently studying Psychology (Honours) at Deakin University, Vinith Imayavasan (OH 2023) found his passion for psychology while studying it at Haileybury as part of his VCE. His dream? To specialise in Developmental Psychology and one day become a Paediatric Clinical Psychologist. “I’m determined to Major in Developmental Psychology next year. Haileybury provided me with the skill set to transition smoothly into university life and the workforce,” he said.

Vin’s other passion, cricket, has also not swayed. He is now playing for Casey South Melbourne Cricket Club, aiming to elevate his game over the next few years. Haileybury’s top-notch cricket program and facilities were key in shaping him into the talented cricketer he is today.

From psychology to cricket, Vin is chasing his dreams, and we can’t wait to see where they take him!
