Women Inspiring Women – Qerime Alimovski (OH 2007)

WOMEN INSPIRING WOMEN: Qerime Alimovski (OH 2007) recently spoke to Haileybury Newlands Middle School Students as part of International Womens Day #choosetochallenge celebrations.

Qerime is a Flavourist at Sentient Technologies and is challenging the status quo and stereotypes by breaking through this male dominated industry. With only 7 Flavourists Australia wide only two of those are women and only 8% globally!

Her insight into the rare and unusual role was fascinating to everyone invited and we were delighted to hear Qerime note her time at Haileybury and the impact it had in shaping her life.

Qerime develops flavours for beverages, tea, coffee, lip gloss and more; her role…. to make them taste better! Her perseverance, hard work and willingness to make a difference have all contributed to her success and we were so proud to hear about her journey.
