Where are they Now – Cassandra Karalis (OH 2017)

Cassandra Karalis (OH 2017) is currently at James Cook University in Townsville studying a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Marine Biology) with special interests in seagrass meadows, data science, and intersectional environmentalism.

Her Victorian ties are still strong as she continues to work with the Sandringham Foreshore Association (SFA) as the Administrator for online communications. With this, alongside her tertiary studies, Cassandra is undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award after having achieved her Bronze and Silver at Haileybury.

Upon the completion of her degree, she would like to study Masters of Ocean Leadership at the University of Western Australia to pursue a future in maritime policy implementation and/or coastal management.
