Where are they Now – Arun Yuvarajah (OH 2005)

Arun Yuvarajah’s (OH 2005) passion for property and construction led him to complete two related Bachelor degrees at Melbourne University, and become a licensed builder.

During Arun’s studies, a number of questions arose regarding his next steps in the property and construction field… what roles existed and who to work for – the builder or the client? Arun now mentors University students that face the same career pathway questions.

Arun thrives on helping the property and construction industry create certainty and improve project outcomes through people, process and data. He sees technology and software as the opportunity to solve key industry pains, facilitate collaboration and enable continuous improvement.

He has been involved in the construction of major capital projects including the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre in the Austin Hospital and Shepparton Law Courts, the biggest regional law court in Victoria. Arun’s knowledge and experience in the industry, combined with his interest in computers, sees him as an incredibly valuable resource.

On a personal front, Arun has been trying to marry his partner of many years, however COVID-19 restrictions keep interrupting their plans. He enjoys boxing and has continued his soccer career, from his glory days at Haileybury.
