Stay Connected with Paul Hameister (OH ’87)

The second of a ten part series featuring the diversity of Haileybury’s alumn features Paul Hameister (’87) who amongst many achievements in his life is the first and only Old Haileyburian to conquer Mt. Everest.

Paul is a very proud Old Haileyburian and the father of two current students – Jade (Year 9) and Kane (year 7) who are both at our Brighton campus.

Paul is an ex-lawyer and ex-investment banker, who has been involved in the property development industry since 1997. He is Co-Chairman of the National Board of Australia’s largest university commerce student association – the Financial Management Association of Australia (FMAA), which he founded while at Uni in 1990. He is currently Executive Chairman of Hamton, an acclaimed property developer specialising in Melbourne’s residential apartment and ancillary retail sectors.

Paul is also the 12th Australian to have climbed the Seven Summits, which includes Mt Everest.
