Hector Simpson (OH 2009) is the Marketing and Partnerships Manager at MANRAGS and he is working hard to eradicate textile waste in Australia and ensure the planet is being cared for, for future generations!

MANRAGS are pioneers of the world’s first digital, direct-to-consumer textile recycling initiative. After the success of their textile recycling initiative, the company has been able to save more than 63,000kg of textiles from landfill and prevent more than 250,000kg of greenhouse gases from polluting our atmosphere.

Recently they launched their public equity crowdfunding campaign through Birchal and reached 102% funding within the first 24 hours (the first company in Australian history to achieve this!).
