Where are they Now – Trevor Jones (OH ’62)
Trevor Jones (OH ’62) graciously volunteers one day a week in Haileybury’s Archives department and according to Chief Archivist, Matthew Wootton, “there is no-one with a deeper knowledge of the Heritage and Archives Collection than Trevor. His contribution to the ongoing maintenance of the Collection is instrumental to essential to the success of our Department and his work will benefit generations of Haileyburians to come.”
Volunteering is incredibly important to Trevor. He also volunteers with Uniting Age Well weekly as a minibus driver for aged and isolated people to participate in outings to local parks and luncheons as well as with Sacred Heart Mission at one of their opportunity shops each week.
Trevor is the only alumni to have attended all Brian “Weary” Clark Club luncheons since its inception in 2010. This special event brings alumni, who have celebrated 50 years or more since graduation, together as they celebrate the life of a great man. The luncheon will be held again this year on Friday, 28 October.
We hope to see you again this year, Trevor!
