Where are they Now – Shane Walden (OH ’95)

Shane Walden (OH ’95) graduated from Monash University with a degree in International Business and not long after, joined ANL Container Line Pty Ltd, an international shipping and logistics operator servicing the Oceania region. Being passionate about global issues, international trade and a champion of customer experience resulted in Shane’s promotion to ANL’s Managing Director in 2020.

During his 15 years with ANL, Shane has enjoyed living and working in the beautiful city of Marseille in France for 2 ½ years as well as in Hong Kong for 4 ½ years. He is well versed to reinforce ANL’s leading position within Oceania, and further foster positive change to compliment the group’s strategy.

Shane and Yumi have two gorgeous young children, Charlie and Max, who he hopes will also attend Haileybury. Shane still watches a game or two of Old Haileybury football where he enjoyed a stellar career and was on the Committee for a number of years.

Shane is counting down the days to his Class of 1995 25 year reunion later in the year and is looking forward to catching up with as many of his class mates as he can!
