Nicholas Hewawissa (OH 2011) is “Running for a Reason”
After discovering the tragic news that his brother had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, Nicholas Hewawissa (OH 2011) felt helpless and uncertain about what the future had in store for his family.
As there is no known cure for the disease, Nicholas felt compelled to create a life goal of raising as much funds as possible, in order to create hope for his brother and for those who are going through the same unfortunate circumstances.
Recently Nicholas decided to build a team – appropriately named “RUN FOR REASON” to participate in the MS Walk + Fun Run on 2nd June with a goal to raise $10,000. So far, this group has 42 members and are well on their way to achieving their goal, having already raised over $2,500.
For anyone who is willing to support this cause and help those in need, please donate here.
If you would like to get involved, join “RUN FOR REASON” and participate in the MS Walk + Fun Run on 6th June, the registration link is here.
A great cause for our Bloods and Hearts to support.
