The Class of 1988 – Changing Lives Forever

Representatives from the Class of 1988 have joined together to jointly fund a scholarship for a student who otherwise would not be able to attend Haileybury, due to their financial circumstances.

Haileybury Foundation’s Class Giving Program provides Class Scholarships through the generosity of former class mates joining together to fund an annual Scholarship. Students may commence in Years 7, 9 or 10 at any of Haileybury’s campuses.

Donors to the Class of 1988 Scholarship identified the criteria for the scholarship and two members (Andrew Bonwick and Nick Wakeling) sat in on the final short listed interviews along with Haileybury staff to select the final recipient.

The student will commence in Year 7 at Haileybury City in 2020. The scholarship will continue to be funded by the Class of 1988 until the recipient completes VCE. Regular updates on progress and meetings will take place for the duration of the school journey.

All donations are tax deductible and members contribute between $500-1000 per annum.
