Fabian Scaunich (OH ’92) is Australia’s leading Mosaicista. He founded Mosaic Republic in 2010 after successfully graduating from the world renowned Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Spilimbergo in Italy.

Mosaic Republic is a boutique artisan studio specialising in the creation of authentic mosaics. With an impressive repertoire of commissioned work including portraits, wall art, feature walls, floors, signage, and sculptures, Fabian’s creativity and innovation provides new meaning to this ancient craft. His breadth of expertise spans Roman, traditional, Byzantine, geometric and modern styles, to name a few. Every mosaic is hand-made using the finest materials, ensuring that every mosaic created will last lifetimes.
