Where are they Now – Stuart Box (OH ’83)
Stuart Box (OH ’83) spent 4 years in Melbourne University’s Engineering Faculty studying Applied Chemistry, and soon after married his course mate Justine.
Stu worked for General Electric for 18 years in both manufacturing and financial services including an expat stint in Singapore before moving to Orica in a series of global corporate roles for a further 7 years.
At the grand age of 46, having spent way too much time in aeroplanes and on foreign shores for over 25 years, Stu’s career changed to stay at home dad to his 2 high school aged children. He supported them through high school in the role of chief cheer squad and sausage twirler at school events as well as University. Now properly retired, Stu and Justine relax in regional Victoria in between holidays both locally and overseas.
Stu has had “a fortunate life” and enjoys engaging with the OHA through the OHA Hockey Club and reunions. We can’t wait to see you, Stu, at your Class of 1983 40-Year Reunion at The Deck in Brighton on February 3!
